Are you brilliant at working with people with learning disabilities? Are you looking for your first step into management or do you already possess good management skills and are looking for a change and a challenge?
Yarrow is passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities to grow and flourish. We support people across West and North London to lead active and creative lives at home and in the community.
This is an excellent career opportunity for someone with at least one year’s experience working with people with learning disabilities. Previous management experience is ideal but not essential, although you will have knowledge of good staff management practice.
For this role you need:
- Experience of working with people with learning disabilities, people with a range of physical disabilities and people who are ageing
- Knowledge of supporting teams to deliver person-centred support and ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered
- Commitment to implementing Active Support and Positive Behaviour Support
- Knowledge of what the requirements are for a service that is registered with the Care Quality Commission
